I’m Kim—a homeschooling mom of three, living on a 15-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country with my husband, our kids, and a lively cast of animals. Our days are full of movement, meaning, and mess—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Rooted in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy, I’m drawn to a style of learning that honors curiosity, connection, and growth at a human pace. Over time, I’ve stepped away from rigid curricula and toward a rhythm that reflects our real lives—one shaped as much by feeding animals and sibling dynamics as by literature and math lessons.
I’m in the process of developing literature and language arts resources that reflect these values—gentle, meaningful, and sustainable for real families. But this space isn’t just for sharing curriculum. It’s a place to reflect on what’s working, what’s hard, and what’s worth holding onto—in parenting, homeschooling, faith, and life.
Above all, I believe that education is not something we do to our children—it’s something we live with them. And I’m still learning, too.
